The Chamness Brand Biotherm Cover System provides an insulated, odor-containment cover for aerobic, anaerobic and fermentation tanks and lagoons used in wastewater/sluge storage and treatment.
Chamness Brand Biotherm Covers are comprised of a series of "pockets" constructed of high-density polyethylene fabric that resists tears and punctures. The pockets contain nonabsorbent polystyrene insulation, which reduces the heat loss and provides buoyancy. Corrosion-resistant polystyrene ties and grommets attach the insulated pockets into a grid, supported by PVC pipe, which covers the complete tank or lagoon. Skirting around the perimeter of the Chamness Biotherm Cover is anchored to the lagoon bank or tank rim to maximize efficiency.
